The 2020 Michigan high school football season was back in action throughout the weekend and it was another week filled with impressive performances. Here are some of the top performers from across the state in the 2021 class.
Noah Kindle | DL | Port Huron
Kindle's combination of athleticism and length were on full display this weekend. He got after the quarterback and tallied four and a half sacks on the night. He holds a few FCS offers, but a player with his skillset should be receiving FBS interest.
[player_tooltip player_id="29632" first="Jordan" last="Wilson"] | WR/DB | Ann Arbor Skyline
Wilson had a big night for Skyline in their matchup against Ann Arbor Pioneer. The senior picked off Harvard commit [player_tooltip player_id="29570" first="Conor" last="Easthope"] twice and returned one for a touchdown. Wilson is one of the best athletes in the entire state and will be an impact player at the next level no matter which side of the ball he plays on.
[player_tooltip player_id="30068" first="Brayden" last="Green"] | LB | Hemlock
Green is a very under the radar player that had a really good game this weekend. He totaled twelve tackles and helped hold the Standish-Sterling offense to just seven points. He has really good size (6'3", 230) for the position and I think he could become a steal for whichever college program gets him.
[player_tooltip player_id="30077" first="John" last="Rayba"] | DL/LB | Stoney Creek
Rayba is a part of a talented Stoney Creek defensive line, but he had no problem standing out this week. The senior put together an impressive eight tackle and two sack performance in a 42-14 win over North Farmington. He only holds one offer from Valparaiso, but he should be seeing more offers come his way soon.
[player_tooltip player_id="30029" first="Gavin" last="Hartman"] | DL | Lapeer
Hartman couldn't be stopped in Lapeer's win over Flint Powers. He has the size and length that college coaches covet at the position and he has showed he has the talent to make an impact at the next level. He currently holds offers from Madonna (NAIA) and Alma (DIII), but he is a player that I fully expect to see get more offers throughout the season.
