As of right now, Oklahoma’s 2021 class has 26 prospects currently committed. The 2021 class appears to be deep, especially on the defensive side of the ball. Every Wednesday, we’ll spotlight five prospects that are still deciding their college futures.

We’ve been high on Patrick since his breakout junior season in 2019. After seeing him in person a few times, we believed that he would be one of the top cornerbacks in the 2021 class. He might also be opening some doors on the offensive side of the ball as well. In scrimmages last week, Patrick was an absolute stud at the wide receiver position. While we still feel his natural position is on the defensive side of the ball, he isn’t hurting his future potential by becoming a very versatile athlete. Who knows what will follow with a big season on both sides of the ball.

We wrote about Swindle as one of the more versatile athletes in this 2021 class. Whether it’s on the offensive or defensive line, Swindle is an absolute wrecking ball of a prospect. Similar to Tatum from Del City, Swindle is one of the top prospects that has yet to commit in this ’21 class. He’s been offered by some big time programs and he’ll need to start narrowing things down eventually. Whether it’s on offense or defense, Swindle is a prospect with a very high ceiling and has been making an impact for powerhouse Heritage Hall from a very young age.

One of the players that emerged this offseason was Kemper from Lawton MacArthur. While Lawton Mac had what they would consider a down year, Kemper showed flashes of absolute playmaking ability. Whether he was lining up at running back or wide receiver, he had a knack for making big play after big play. This offseason, he started getting noticed by some D1 schools. With another strong season this fall, he’ll be one of the more sought after offensive weapons in Oklahoma. Since he hasn’t committed, schools should certainly put an importance on this Highlander.

We list Ostroski as an athlete because he played about ten different positions on both sides of the ball last season. He lines up all across the defensive lines. He also has the ability to make things happen on offense. Ostroski is an absolute monster of a prospect. A big thing that separates Ostroski from others at his position is his work ethic. The Holland Hall standout put in an unbelievable amount of work this offseason to solidify himself as one of the top athletes in this 2021 class. It could be a very special year for Holland Hall and for Ostroski in the recruiting scene.

The final prospect in our spotlight feature is Tatum from Del City. Earlier this summer, Tatum announced his final three schools. He’ll be deciding between Baylor, Boise State and Oklahoma State. Earlier this month, Tatum’s teammate

committed to Oklahoma State. Tatum is arguably the best prospect that has yet to announce his commitment. On Wednesday, Tatum tweeted out that he would be committing on Sunday. Will the impact player commit to one of his final three schools or will it be another school that emerges to land the talented Eagle.
