With football being pushed back to the Spring, how are you going to approach the Fall?
With the Football being pushed back to the spring I am just going to keep training so I can be ready for college. This gives me even more time to train so I can go into college ready to play.
What aspects of your game have you continued to work on throughout the Summer?
There isn’t really one thing that I worked on this summer, but my speed, strength, and explosion for sure is off the charts. I have completely changed my body since the end of the football season. I have also been spending a lot of time working on my get off and closing the distance between me and the offensive lineman before I make my move. I tend to overthink and complicate things because I know so much.
How would you describe your game?
I would say I am a very relentless player. I am always going and I do not stop. I think I am a overall talent. You can lined me up from DE to DT to nose tackle. I can be an elite pass rusher and an elite run stuffer. I am able to do so much because of my off-season transformation I made.
Who do you most mirror your game after?
People have always call me baby Bosa. I model my game after the Bosa brothers and Chase young for sure. I watch Chase Young once a day at least.
Do you feel you are better equipped for a specific scheme?
I definitely think I am more equipped for a 4-3 defense but I can do whatever is needed of me.
What areas of your game do you take the most pride in?
The area of my game that I take the most pride in is my Pass Rushing ability. You cannot replace that. I am very passionate about that, I have been doing DL specific training for about five years now.
What are your team goals for the upcoming season?
I will not be playing a football season this year, I will be finishing my classes online and early enrolling in college.
As a top OL prospect in IL, what is the most important thing you’re looking for, as you look at schools?
The most important thing I’m looking for in a school is the academics. A good degree is very important to me. On the football side I would say the strength program, I need to go somewhere where I know I’ll be developed. The other most important thing is relationships. I want to go to school where I am comfortable with the staff and the players.
