Defensive end [player_tooltip player_id="25132" first="Ja’Quez" last="Harvey"] from Locke Charter High School in Los Angeles committed to the University of Arizona Tuesday.
Harvey, one of the best players in the LA City Section, held 9 offers before choosing Arizona.
He never became a national recruit, likely because Locke Charter is a smaller school, but the Mountain West and Pac 12 were well aware of him. All of his offers came from those two conferences with the exception of Kansas.
