Expert Analysis
Terrell Franklin | Prep Redzone Scout
Starting off with a player who is already ranked, Taylor has an explosive get off from the line! I believe his quickness is his best weapon. I think his pass rush moves are fairly solid for a high schooler, and will only get better! He uses his length well, rarely allowing linemen to get their hands in his chest. I like his versatility. His size his good for the edge, but he has bumped inside to rush the guard! His speed make shim a nightmare for slower guards. I still consider Taylor as a Break Out Candidate because I think currently he can be neutralized in some aspects. Though he gives max effort each play, I think he could get stronger at the point of attack. IF a tackle is athletic enough, Taylor has been guided around the QB on several occasions. He is more than capable of doing it, I have seen it with my own eyes! I just want him to do it on a consistent basis! Taylor is a very good player, and whoever he signs with officially will be getting a top recruit, but I want to see his dominate his competition week in and week out!

Taylor is a disruptive force on the Shadow Creek defensive line. He has elite burst off of the line of scrimmage, he has the athleticism to bend, rip and shed blockers at the point of attack and his closing speed is next level. Taylor is relentless when he his on the attack, he plays under control and he runs from sideline to sideline to make plays routinely. Zion has the traits that made him a coveted recruit, but the University of Houston, which is headed to the pass happy Big 12, made him a priority, as he committed to stay close to home.
