Even if the passing efficiency is rough around the edges, Douglass returns as a D1 prospect at QB who was both the leading passer and rusher for Etowah. He is a long, fluid athlete with a natural delivery. He can loft the ball with booming trajectory, which I think is the best part of his game. He is a true difference maker as a runner who can lift off in space with his strides, and he also has the size to fall forward and take on contact if needed. He is firmly on the D1 radar, and I am eager to see the strides he takes as a passer this fall.

Every team needs to rely on their quarterback, and that is something that the Etowah program can do. Douglass has great size and is great in the pocket, but he is most effective when he is able to move out of the pocket. He has great speed and is one of the better runners on this team. He is someone who can be used in the option game heavily and will likely have his fair share of designed runs. He is a veteran in this offense, and that will show in his senior season. Douglass has true star potential and will look to get Etowah on the right track.

After seeing Douglass in person a few showcases ago, I was instantly intrigued. He is tall, long, lanky, with natural arm talent and athleticism. A true dual threat who can separate in space with long strides. He can get out of the pocket and make plays on the move. He has a long, natural delivery and can tap into several different trajectories. He flashes brilliant touch down the field at times and gives his receivers a chance. Would like to see him play more efficiently as a senior, but I still like the flashes from his tape.

8/31/25: Long, lanky frame with a lot of room to add. Raw mover, still growing into his frame. Not super twitchy, but good downhill speed and can move the chains with his legs. Long, slower developing release, but throws the ball with easy spin and drive. Beautiful touch and spin on the deep ball, gets it to turn over. Consistently performs well. Underrated. Will improve as he fills out and tightens mechanics.

Zeke Douglass Zeke Douglass 6'2" | 185 lbs | QB Etowah | 2027 GA was a top performer at one of our PRZ Camps this past offseason, and he impressed me again after watching him with pads on. This is more of a general glimpse at his game than a focus on a specific performance. Douglass has good size, is crafty when the play breaks down, and is a master at getting the ball to turn over and drop in. His touch is impressive and sets the basis of intrigue, along with his traits.

During the Prep Redzone Camp in Atlanta, Zeke made a statement by posting one of the best 40-yard dash times of the event. Known for his versatility, Zeke can cover ground quickly and this elite speed gives him the ability to break away from the competition at the Quarterback position. With such a remarkable performance, Zeke has proven he belongs in the spotlight as one of the top athletes to watch.
