is an interesting prospect we project to be a QB at the next level, but he also showed flashes as a DB/ATH. Zayne had a small sample size at QB last season, but he made the most of it with 7/12 completions for 176 yards and five passing touchdowns. On defense and special teams, he recorded 10 tackles, a TFL, and two interceptions (one pick-six), and three punt return touchdowns. As a QB, he does a great job of seeing the field, working through his progressions, and maneuvering under pressure in the pocket. His arm strength is a bit overlooked, as he has shown multiple times that he can lob bombs downfield with solid placement. He didn’t run much, but with a reported 4.59 40-yard time, he is a threat to take off at any moment. Zayne’s shiftiness and quick twitch make him difficult to catch, with the vision to find small creases in the defense, and the burst to explode for a big gain when he finds the open field. Great awareness and fluidity in coverage, with the instincts to break on the ball when he sees an opportunity for a big play.

, who will once again lead the Northeast Rockets’ offense next season. Watching back parts of Zayne’s performance, I was really impressed with the timing of his throws and his ability to lead his receiver with the ball. He took some nice deep shots downfield, which he delivered with great touch and ball placement. Scully’s footwork looked good as he went through drills, showing that he can move very well within the pocket and smoothly roll out when he needs to escape.
