Jarvis is one that is hard to miss from his midseason tape, as one that we had on our Lincoln All-City Team for defense this preseason and he’s showing why he was in our top-tier in the that secondary group. A lot of what you see from Jarvis, shows off a defensive back that can play in muliple spots in the secondary, with his best position as far as the next-level in my eyes plays out at safety due to the well-versed tackling ability and rangy vision that he has at his disposal. I have him graded out as a stockriser that is moving the needle forward in our 2028 DB group in Nebraska.

Jarvis was named to our first team Linconln All-City Team for defensive back during preseason and it’s been easy to see why we had a first team grade thru the first four weeks. This young man has great ball instincts that have a lot of range in his 6’3 190 pound frame that he has been able to utilize to his advantage as if I were a college coach, you won’t have to wait long to see what I am talking about with his midseason tape. He’s a thrasher to the ball in pass coverage and you can tell that he almost blindly gets to the ball without WRs barely knowing he’s coming his way. He’s been a huge asset to the Lincoln Northeast in pass coverage, but is also really hard to missing coming downhill for run support. Surely moving the needle ahead of his DB5 ranking in my eyes in the 2028 class.

The Lincoln Northeast Rockets are an interesting team that could make a playoff push next season with a solid group of returning players like DB Jarvis Lott Jarvis Lott 6'3" | 190 lbs | DB Lincoln Northeast | 2028 State NE . Jarvis quietly had a strong sophomore campaign, recording 40 tackles, two TFLs, and two interceptions. My first takeaway from watching Jarvis’ tape is that he already has the size that coaches will seek at the next level, with a lengthy 6’3″ and 190-pound frame, along with the athleticism to match the measurables. Jarvis is a very aggressive safety who can sharply break on passes and is physical when challenging receivers at the catch point. Instinctive hands to break up passes. He does a great job of chopping down ball carriers in the open field, using good technique and power to secure the stop on initial contact. Lott has a good range from the safety position; he can get downhill quickly or go from sideline to sideline to make a stop. Potential stock-riser this spring and summer with camp opportunities.
