What's your biggest strength as a player, and how does it show up in games?
My biggest strength as a player is being a team leader and being able to learn different plays and roles quickly. I try to help my teammates understand their assignments and how to execute them on the field. Because I can learn different roles quickly, I’ve been able to play different positions on defense and help wherever my team needs me.
What are you working to improve right now?
want to keep improving my speed, strength, tackling, and ability to read plays so I can become a better and more confident player. I also want to continue working on my catching because if the opportunity comes, I want to be ready to play offense too. My goal is to keep working hard and become a more versatile player for my team.
What are you looking for in a college program?
I’m looking for a college program with strong team morale, supportive coaches, and a team that pushes each other to improve. I want a school where I can grow as a player and student, while pursuing a degree in sports medicine or a pathway toward becoming an athletic director or something similar. Most importantly, I want to find a place where I feel like I belong and can contribute to the team.
Outside of your sport, what should coaches know about you?
Outside of football, I also play competitive baseball and have been able to maintain being on the Academic Honor Roll. I’m a team-oriented person, a quick learner, and someone who is willing to do whatever is needed to help the team. I take pride in being coachable, working hard, and being a good teammate both on and off the field.
What do you want to study, and what career interests you?
I’m currently in a sports medicine program at my high school, which has made me interested in studying sports medicine, exercise science, kinesiology, athletic training, or sports management in college. I’m also interested in eventually becoming an athletic director. I want a career that allows me to stay involved in sports while helping athletes and teams succeed.
