A multi-year starter for Franklin HS, Zander looks to continue leading this team to high success. An athletic QB who has a verified 9’7″ SBJ and 4.7 40 from the National Preps Spring Showcase. Zander has excellent pocket awareness and mobility. He steps up in the pocket to shoot the ball down field, and is great passer on the run. He is able to scramble for yards or extend the play while keeping his eyes downfield to find the open receiver. Zander has a smooth throwing motion and the ball comes out clean & tight with nice spin. It’s makes a very easy to catch ball for his playmakers as Zander his them in stride. He also throws a nice deep ball, getting it up and down to drop in a bucket or lace it up the seam.
Currently Zander holds two offers from newly promoted D2 Lackawanna College and Univ. of New England. A high academic prospect as well, with a 3.9 GPA and 1230 SAT he should be getting plenty more interest from high academic and scholarship D2 programs his senior year. Zander is a playmaker and leader from the QB spot and I expect big things from him this fall.
