Adding on to our list of undersized DL standouts, Zander Armstrong Zander Armstrong 6'1" | 175 lbs | DL Xavier | 2026 IA is one of the smallest players on our list, but he is fully capable of single-handedly wrecking his opponents. Armstrong finished last season with 34 tackles (30 solo), 7 TFLs, and 2 sacks. While there isn’t any film on his play currently out, Armstrong’s numbers showcased a certain level of independent ability to make a difference and perform effectively on the trenches despite his size not being well suited for that area. Armstrong will remain to be a key force for Xavier’s defense in 2025 as they look to reclaim the state title for the first time since 2022.
