About Zakai

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a duel threat QB that will do anything for my team to win. I also play Safety & WR .I am an athlete that can play any where on the field do to my size and skill set.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My personality is humble & appreciative of all the talent God gave me. I love being coached hard to make me smarter and to bring the best out of me. I take criticism well and use everything as a learning opportunity.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am in Student Council in my class which I take seriously because it helps me to be involved with teachers & students & helps with my public speaking and leadership skills.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have become a great leader by playing multiple sports n being a vocal leader which was instilled in me by my parents & church which I volunteer by passing food out to the community monthly that keeps me grounded and humbled.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Just growing up in a area where kids are going down the wrong path at a young age,staying focused daily is a challenge. Just wanting more for my life and I am grateful for my family guidance & God

What type of college are you looking for?

My goal is to get a scholarship to great D1 school to further my education.Not Picky 🤷🏽‍♂️

Zakai is a do it all athlete who showed out as RB for this event. With good size ad 6’1″ 180+ , Zakai is capable of lining up at any skill position with his athleticism. He accelerates up to top speed rapdily and shows nice lateral quickness. In RB drills, he showed nice cutting ability. Able to stick & go, while using his fluid hips to make strong side/jump cuts. In 1v1s he burnt defenders both vertically and with quick wiggle in his routes. Constantly getting open with good separation, he showed he knows how to get space with his route running. Do want to see impress his hands as a receiver however, as he had a few drops during 1v1s. Overall, Zakai is a freshman prospect already making his name known with tons of potential for the future.
