Cayden Vassa Cayden Vassa 6'0" | 195 lbs | DB/ATH Bethlehem Catholic | 2026 State PA is an outstanding athlete. His ability to run and throw the ball is excellent. On one play, he had an errant snap, and he got it 15 yards behind the line of scrimmage. He picked it up and made several defenders miss and raced for a 30-yard touchdown. He is that type of athlete. His ability to be used in designed quarterback run plays and when the play breaks down and running for big plays is excellent. As a thrower of the football, he shows a good arm and does a nice job of throwing into tight windows. He also has good footwork and excellent mechanics. Vassa has the skills to continue to be a high-caliber quarterback.

is a very impressive athlete to watch out of Bethlehem Catholic. His escapability is fun to see in person. Vassa can make every throw on the field. This makes him a huge threat next season in the EPC. Especially with his brother

catching passes from him! Cayden’s ability to read defenses has helped him tremendously this past season. He understands where the ball needs to be and when, and also makes great reads in the read option/RPO game. The 18th ranked QB in the state has a chance to climb the rankings with a great off-season! Keep an eye on him!

Ranked inside the top 20 in one of the best quarterback classes Pennsylvania has pushed out in some time. #18 might not seem like much of a compliment until you realize Vassa was given an FCS grade (162) prior to the season beginning.
Up nearly 15 pounds since our last measurables update, that being a huge deal. Vassa was always a bit slight, this was a legitimate concern at one point. Learning that he’s put on significant weight is music to my ears. I saw Vassa live about a month back and can only say good things about his build.
For this piece, I’ll be taking a look at Vassa’s mid-season tape posted a good two/three weeks back to get caught up to speed on all things surrounding the junior QB prospect. Vassa is proving he can sit in the pocket, hitch, and deliver strikes 40+ yards downfield if given the opportunity. Great leader of posts and nines, would much rather miss via overthrow than under. Vassa still looks special in impromptu situations. Vassa scored a touchdown from 30+ yards out on his own merit, bobbing and weaving through an ACC defense, breaking damn near four/five tackles along the way. Vassa’s accuracy, understanding of zone concepts, his confidence as a passer gets him in the door. Vassa’s prowess as a dual-threat is what is going to get him recruited. QB draws and QB sweeps are witnessed on tape. A Vassa ball jumps out of his hand, his release is replicable. Can deliver accurate balls on the go, especially to his right. I’m still seeing a ton of the flare that propelled him to the top 200 last rankings update. If the kid is on, BecaHi is tough to beat.
CAYDEN VASSA HIGHLIGHT. @Caydenfootball
This kid can GO. Watch what the BecaHi QB does here 👀👀👀👀

The junior quarterback is one of the top-20 quarterbacks in the state of Pennsylvania and a top-200 prospect within our 2026 recruiting rankings. Last season, Vassa threw for 1,529 yards and 18 touchdowns to seven interceptions. He also ran for 378 yards and five touchdowns. Vassa has good size for the position at 6-foot-0 and around the 175-pound mark. While he has dual-threat capabilities, Vassa doesn’t necessarily look to use his legs all the time. That being said, he’s a great decision maker on RPOs, he has the ability to quickly identify holes in opposing defenses and make the decision to give or keep the ball. Good athlete, if he hits the open hole untouched, good luck bringing him down. Really excited to see what Vassa can do this upcoming season for Bethlehem Catholic. Plenty of upside with Vassa and has FCS upside.

Cayden Vassa Cayden Vassa 6'0" | 195 lbs | DB/ATH Bethlehem Catholic | 2026 State PA is a dual-threat quarterback for Bethlehem Catholic. He is equally as good at running the ball as he is at throwing the ball. He has a legit speed and when he breaks into the 2nd level of the defense he runs by defenders. He is good at designed run plays where he can read the defense and run with the ball. In the pocket, he shows good mechanics and solid footwork. Vassa can also make a play by scrambling around to find open receivers. He has a strong arm and shows it off on deep balls. Vassa is a good quarterback who can do it all from inside and outside the pocket.

Three-minute tape on Hudl. Carries arguably a less than appealing build compared to Marshalek and Walter, yet ranked higher because his dual-threat capabilities far exceed the two mentioned above. If you’re going to carry a slighter frame, you better be able to threaten a defense with more than just your arm, BecaHi’s Cayden Vassa Cayden Vassa 6'0" | 195 lbs | DB/ATH Bethlehem Catholic | 2026 State PA does just that. 23 total TDs, 17 through the air, six on the ground. Vassa, the consummate playmaker, shows he can operate out of spread sets, or ones that call for two TE in-line beside each tackle. A mix of dimes and game-breaking runs, Vassa opens up the Top15 Qb rankings by providing the list with its first premier athlete. I’ve heard nothing but good things concerning the young man’s work ethic, as well as his attention to detail on the field. His tape showcases his ability to throw on time, with a drop back, from the pocket. His tape showcases his ability to throw on the run when the playcall tasks him with working flood concepts while sprinting out. His tape showcases Vassa’s ability to complete passes when plays break down, excelling more than any on this list in terms of improvisational skills. Tack on his knack for out-running secondary angles, you’ve got a two-way star close to the Top100.
