is a long and athletic defensive back with clear upside in coverage. His length allows him to contest passes effectively and disrupt receivers at the catch point. He shows fluid hips and the ability to transition smoothly, which is essential for staying in phase with receivers. Thom demonstrates good awareness in coverage, reading routes and reacting quickly. His range in the secondary allows him to cover ground and limit big plays. He also shows a willingness to compete physically, despite his lean frame. As he adds strength, his ability to match up against bigger receivers will continue to improve. Thom projects as a high-upside defensive back with tools that college programs look for.

Thom, the sophomore from Bethlehem Catholic finished the weekend with our fastest time in the SKLZ Speed Challenge running a blazing 4.51.
It’s no surprise to see Armando topping this list, as the WR/DB is multi-sport athlete with impressive times on the track this year as well.
With a great frame, top speed and some impressive stats already as only a sophomore, we expect big things for Thom’s future. He’s name to watch in PA.

Armando was one of Level 82s best and most important performers in their run to being champs of the 15 U division this weekend. He was such a key player for them he was one of few if not the only player I could see to start both ways for Lvl82 all weekend long. A primarily defensive standout, Armando came in and made big plays on offense as well. He totaled 5 TDs as WR and 10 PBUs from the DB spot. Armando also made the key play for Level 82 in OT securing the catch for the conversion which was the difference in them winning. With his length, fluid hips and nice overall speed, Armando is able to make plays all over the field. He had an excellent back endzone catch for a TD where he went up and reached over the defender to pluck the ball out of the air all while staying in stride and getting his feet down in bounds. On defense, he shows excellent range and is a true ball hawk.
Currently not ranked in the 28 PA rankings, I expect that to change in those upcoming rankings. Armando had an excellent season this fall for Bethlehem Catholic and expect colleges to start to take notice of his game this spring when they hit the road. He already claims one offer from Temple and I can certainly see more coming his way shortly.
