Zach Alvarez has consistently been amongst my favorite players in Forsyth County. Here is my May eval of him after another in-person evaluation:

“Zach Alvarez is a raw corner with impressive tangible traits. He is listed at 6’2 180, and having seen him several times in person, he is big. His footwork off the line and his instincts are developing, but he is a competitor on the outside, stepping up on WRs and immediately mixing it up with his length. At 6’2 and a basketball athlete, there is absolutely the ability to play above the rim here. Alvarez is a prototype body with solid speed, explosiveness, and change of direction. He is also a multi-sport athlete. Now, he just has to tie everything together and harness his physical nature.”
