Expert Analysis
Matt DeBary | Prep Redzone Scout
A consistent, sure-handed wideout from Forsyth County, Martin is one of the top young playmakers in the region who shined all season long for the Raiders in 2025. He sure didn’t look like your average sophomore as he found ways to get open consistently while having strong, dependable hands. The Coal Mountain native is a vertical threat down the field who can pick up big yards after the catch. He’s one of the more productive wideouts across North Georgia in the 2028 class as he caught 52 passes for 815 yards and five touchdowns, averaging an impressive 74 yards per game. Not only was he added to the latest update but he also made a big jump, now ranked as the No. 15 WR prospect in Georgia for the 2028 class.

Already one of the top pass-catchers across Forsyth County, Martin is one of the top 2028 receivers in the area and is having a really strong and consistent sophomore season. He brings a promising 6-foot-1 180-pound frame with strong hands and the ability to fight for yards after the catch. Martin has caught 43 passes this fall for 734 yards and five touchdowns. He’s hit the 100-yard mark three times this season and is averaging an impressive 17 yards per catch. His best football is still way ahead of him and some possible college interest and offers could come his way in the off-season.

A playmaking sophomore receiver on the rise in Forsyth County, Martin is a vertical threat with strong ball skills who should see the ball coming his way more and more over time. He was terrific through his first three games to start the season, catching 10 passes for 248 yards and two touchdowns. His best game came against Creekview where he made four catches for 160 yards and one touchdown. He’s also averaging an impressive 24.8 yards per catch. He’s one of the top 2028 playmakers in the area who still has his best football ahead of him. His stock is on the rise and he could be North Forsyth’s next D1 prospect if he continues to develop properly.

reeled in 4 receptions for 160 yards and a TD in his breakout party against Creekview last week. Martin, 6’0 180, isn’t the most traitsy prospect, but he won with spacing and leverage. His ball skills and body control were impressive as well, making plays above the rim and picking the ball off the turf. Martin looks the part of a reliable prospect and appears to be growing into a go-to playmaker on the outside for North Forsyth.

is a freshman WR who is expected to take a big step forward this fall. There is no tape on him right now, but North Forsyth coaches had him listed among their top players to look out for. From what I can see, Martin is a long basketball athlete who still has some time to grow into his frame. He is a long strider who eats yards with just a few steps. I will make sure to get close eyes on Martin when I’m down there for spring ball.
