Over 125 prospects were in Atlanta for the 2023 Prep Redzone Southeast Prospect Tour. At the very least, each player in attendance received elite coaching and got a chance to compete against talented football players. There were a few prospects that caught my eye the most all afternoon. For their own unique reasons, they should be considered GameChangers.
Elijah Ling Elijah Ling 6'0" Jackson County | 2024 GA
Elijah Ling Elijah Ling 6'0" Jackson County | 2024 GA
Few 2024’s in Georgia have raised their stock this offseason like Elijah Ling Elijah Ling 6’0″ Jackson County | 2024 GA . Earlier this offseason, he had a strong showing at the Phenom Legacy game. He backed up that performance with a strong outing at our showcase. Ling is an impressive blend of speed and size. He flashed the ability to create separation at all levels of the field against different coverages. He didn’t drop a pass either, flashing some of the best hands out of all the attendees. His well-rounded game and college readiness makes him a GameChanger.
Frazier impressed both as a tester and as a WR. He won the fastest man competition and did so with weather conditions that make it harder to run. Frazier was nearly impossible to guard and created more space than any WR. He did a good job of getting DBs off platform at the line with his release and continued to stack moves in order to find open field. He flashed a good catch radius as well, reaching back over his head to snag the ball and scooping it off the turf as well. Frazier picked up an offer this month from Georgia Southern and should add more this offseason.
Highlights
Malachi Thomas Malachi Thomas 6’4″ | 230 lbs | TE Thomas County Central | 2024 GA was one of the names I had circled coming into the event. After watching several Thomas County Central games this year, Thomas was always a standout, both for his blocking ability and for his receiving upside. Thomas stood out from a measurables standpoint at 6’4 230. He was a fluid athlete in the testing segment and answered any questions I may have had around his receiving ability. He created enough separation off the line with his release and uses his size to settle down in soft spots and shield off WRs. Thomas flashed good hands, catching passes away from his body and showing the late hands to pluck the ball back behind his head. His size, blocking prowess, and receiving upside makes him a GameChanger. He is one of the best available 2024s in Georgia.
Williams-Lee walked away as the biggest stock riser of the event. The rising senior had a productive 2023, but still remains under the radar as a recruit. His 6’2 270 frame makes him difficult to handle from a physical standpoint. He is built from the ground up, showing explosive get off and has impressive size and definition in his legs. However, you need to show finesse at camps, and he certainly did. He can threaten the edge thanks to his first step and does a good job of working through the hands of blockers, hand fighting and getting his arm over to free himself. Williams-Lee has D1 traits and deserves some recognition.

Zachary Alvarez Zachary Alvarez 6'2" North Forsyth | 2025 GA
Zachary Alvarez Zachary Alvarez 6'2" North Forsyth | 2025 GA
Alvarez was yet another prospect I pinpointed before the event, and I walked away just as high on him after his performance. Athletically, there’s a lot to like about Alvarez. He broad jumped 9’9 during testing, which was one of the best marks all afternoon. He comes in at a long 6’2 180 and uses his length to help crowd the release at the line and at the top of the route for WRs. Alvarez is a high upside prospect who can be a GameChanger thanks to his blend of height, weight, length, and speed.
Turner Davis Turner Davis 6’1″ | 175 lbs | DB North Cobb Christian School | 2025 GA put together one of the most well-rounded performances. He was the leader in the broad jump, jumping 10’2. He tested well in other categories as well. He looks the part, coming in at 6’1 175 and moving well for his size. Davis just finished his first year playing football, making a transition from the basketball court. He used his length to press defenders to the sidelines and flashed the speed to remain in phase with WRs. Davis is still very new to football, which should make college coaches excited about their upside.
