Martin Jr. is a dynamic runner who blends patience with explosion. He allows blocks to develop, then hits the hole with urgency and burst. Once in space, his combination of speed and quickness makes him difficult to contain, and he consistently shows the ability to generate big plays.

Martin also runs with excellent contact balance, bouncing off defenders and extending plays. As he returns for his senior season, he is already one of the more decorated backs in the area from a recruiting standpoint, holding offers from programs such as UTSA, Tulsa, Sacramento State, New Mexico, UTEP, Miami (OH), Missouri State, Air Force, and Arkansas State. His skill set and production firmly establish him as an elite-level rusher in Houston.
