Young is a shifty receiver who fits the slot mold really well. He makes sharp cuts, changes direction with ease, and does a nice job creating separation underneath. Once the ball is in his hands, he can make defenders miss and pick up extra yards after the catch. I also think his basketball background shows up in the way he sees the field and works through traffic. He’s stronger than you’d expect for his frame and doesn’t go down as easily as most smaller receivers. He’s an intriguing receiver with a skill set that should translate well as he continues to develop.
