Xavier Myers Xavier Myers 6'2" | 185 lbs | DB Mount St. Joseph | 2026 State MD delivered a game-changing play with a red zone interception, halting Concordia’s scoring threat in the second quarter. The defensive back displayed textbook man-to-man technique, jamming his receiver at the line and forcing him off balance before showing impressive concentration to secure a bobbled ball. Myers, who has verbally committed to Boston College, continues to build on his reputation as one of the top defensive backs in the DMV. He holds offers from more than 10 programs, including James Madison, Toledo, and Delaware, and his combination of physicality, ball skills, and football IQ makes him a valuable addition to the Eagles’ 2026 class.

Xavier makes a jump of roughly 60 spots, coming in at #33 in a loaded DB 2026 class. A player who was on my radar during/after the year but really impressed me when I saw him live this spring. A legit 6’2″+ with excellent length, Xavier looks like a prototype CB for today’s game.

A very fluid played in his backpedal & transitions, Xavier keeps himself in good position to see the ball and make a play on it. He has real speed as well, a track athlete he has a verified 10.82 100M which is tops in the MIAA this spring. With that combination of speed, length athletic ability – Xavier was no doubt P4 kid to me. That was proven true as Xavier just recently made his commitment to Boston College. I can see Xavier having a very strong senior year and making other P4 schools upset for missing out on him.
