About Gregory
How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
I would describe my play style as physical and smooth, playing with controlled aggression. I read keys quickly, identify run or pass, and use strong backfield vision to stay ahead of the play. I communicate at a high level, calling out pullers and recognizing pass concepts to keep the defense organized. I’m always around the ball, pursuing every play whether I make the tackle or not.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
My mentality every time I step on the field is simple: either I dominate or get dominated, and I refuse to be the one getting stepped on. I play to win and earn respect through my effort and physicality. My preparation during the week is full speed, so by game day the intensity feels natural and I’m ready to perform at a high level. If I don’t make the tackle I will be there to punch that ball out
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
I’m an active member of the Black Student Union, Wellness Club, Big Brother program, and Student Ambassadors. Through these roles, I’ve developed leadership, accountability, and the ability to represent my school in a positive way. I take pride in being involved, supporting others, and setting an example both on and off the field.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
Time management has helped me stay focused and handle my responsibilities early, so I’m prepared and not worried later. Consistency has built my confidence because it shows me that with a strong mindset and effort, I can keep improving and reach my goals. Mentorship has taught me that younger people are always watching, so I make sure to set a positive example and do the right thing.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
Yes, I have faced challenges, especially with balancing school, sports, and my other activities. At times it can be difficult to manage everything and stay on top of my responsibilities. I’ve learned how to use better time management and stay organized so I can handle everything without falling behind.
What type of college are you looking for?
I’m looking for a college that has a strong academic program and a competitive athletic environment. I want a school where I can continue to develop as a student and as an athlete. I’m also looking for a supportive environment that helps me in what I do, both during school and after graduation, and prepares me to build a strong future.
