With a quick release and good arm for a freshman, he hits receivers with good accuracy and velocity on short/intermediate routes. He is a very intriguing young prospect who should develop into a solid quarterback with time.

Play quarterback as a freshman is hard in any instance. Just making sure your team is lined up correctly and getting the pre-snap operations of the offensive executed is a lot. Once Gammon had the ball in his hands, he did a great job of knowing where he wanted to go with the ball and getting it out quickly. He never looked rushed or like the moment was too big for him. As a thrower he can really spin it. On the in breaking timing routes the ball was mostly on time and on the mark with zip. Xavier was also not afraid to tuck it and run when there wasn’t anything there and showed the ability to take hits and deliver blows and get right back up. I’m really excited to see what the future holds for this young Quarterback.
