McFarlin is an old-school football player. He’s a versatile receiver who’s extremely effective in both the pass and run games.

In the passing game, he lines up in the slot and is really slippery. He’s a fluid athlete who can flip his hips and change direction with ease, creating natural separation. McFarlin is strong at the catch point and does a great job of securing the ball through contact.

In the run game, he’s a physical blocker who’s not just looking to shield defenders — he’s looking to put them on their back. McFarlin may not be flashy, but he’s a player you can consistently count on to get the job done.

I’m very interested to see what he puts on film this fall.
