A blocking specialist Hanson is strong at the point of attack and can really take on defensive lineman who are bigger with physical hands and a high motor. Not a ton of reps in the passing game but Hanson’s skillset would be valuable at the next level as a blocking TE/H-Back and has the ability to impact the game on special teams.

Next to Quarterback, Tight End maybe the most challenging position in football. They are asked to block like a lineman and catch/run routes like a Wide Receiver. Few excel at both attributes like William Hanson William Hanson 6'1" | 225 lbs | TE/LB St. Francis | 2025 State NY , who is ranked #3 in the state for his position. Hanson is a great run blocker that has incredible strength and bullies his opponents downfield. He was a big part of St. Francis dominate running attack. Will is also a good route runner with soft hands. His big body makes for a nice safety valve and is a good target when the QB needs a quick gain. A multi-faceted player, Will Hanson won player of the game twice in 2023 due to his contribution on Special teams. This is a player to monitor this coming up season as many big name schools in need of a Tight End will be calling.

William Hanson William Hanson 6'1" | 225 lbs | TE/LB St. Francis | 2025 State NY is the next tight end in line to have big numbers for St. Francis. A very run heavy offense Hanson has good blocking tape and is already a solid prospect there. However, St. Francis graduates its leading receiver who was their top TE last season and Hanson will likely see a big increase in how often the ball comes his way. A power run offense that uses PA to get the ball to the TE is a perfect set up for Hanson who is athletic, fluid, and already a really solid blocker.
