This class of athletes within our top 5 is one that has really grown on me over the last couple weeks, as ATH4 is Will Ness Will Ness 5'11" | 165 lbs | ATH Shanley | 2027 State ND from Fargo Shanley who is a playmaker on both sides of the ball. The 5’11 165 pounder defines the term “athlete” simply, as his ball-tracking and footwork as a cornerback for the Deacons should pass any evaluators eye-test very quickly when you roll his first clip. There is no doubt you have to love this kid’s instincts for the cornerback position at the next-level as Will has a great feel especially on deep routes. He also has excellent vision in open space as a slot receiver and oddly is a hidden gem on his recruiting trail that you have to know out of Fargo.
