Will put on a show during his senior season on the Wausau West OL and it has paid off this offseason as the offers have piled up for the senior. It is clear to see what everyone is liking about his game. Will dominates with leverage and power. Every highlight has him underneath his opponent with inside hand placement showing his power and that the low man always wins. In pass protection the IOL sets a strong anchor upon contact. Plus the senior has that nasty finish mentality to his game where he is looking to punish his opponent and get them on the ground. On top of it all the senior also has the conditioning to play DL also. I’m pumped to hear where the Will commits. He is on the rise and his best football is on the way.

Week 5 is some awesome tape from one of the top uncommitted senior offensive linemen in WI. Will held it down at the center position while showing off a strong array of traits. Will has the strength to reset the line of scrimmage by driving DTs off the line of scrimmage and far beyond that sometimes. Will also brings range to the IOL and can comfortably attack LBs, quickly closing on them and getting himself in proper position to wall them off form the running lane. The senior OC also shined against a NT, getting off accurate snaps and instantly engaging with power that won the battle in the trenches. Will is a versatile OL who I believe can play guard or center at the next level. Check out what he did in Week 5.

Will is an athlete we have been watching for a couple years now. He has made impressive strides over the past year, and it is paying off at camps this summer. Those strong showings have started resulting in offers for the 6’2″ 275 lbs incoming senior. He currently has offers from Upper Iowa, Winona State, and Black Hills. All of which have come within the last week!
At RT in 2023 Will crushed opponents. Whether it was crashing his DL down the line of scrimmage away from the play or into the laps of LBs, Will was able to overpower his opponents very quickly. His power is a strong balance between a wide base, strong leg drive, and heavy hands. McCorison is constantly winning with leverage too. Every highlight he seems to be the low man and during those reps we see him win with ease. He will most likely slide inside at the next level where he can continue to maul defenders with his power.

One of the best northern WI 2025s had himself a day showing off his skills at the Prep Redzone WI Combine. He measured in just a hair under 6’2″ and 275 lbs. The junior had the longest broad jump at 8’2″, the fastest L Drill at 7.90, and the fastest 40 at 5.25. No question, Will has the size and athleticism needed to play at the next level.
Will looked just as impressive when he got to actually play some OL in 1 on 1s also. The junior is blessed with a strong anchor that stood up DL when they tried to use power. He is a natural at gaining the leverage advantage right from the moment he engages. Will demonstrated active, accurate hand placement, and the athleticism in his lower body to slide laterally either direction and change direction stood out rep to rep. It was a strong showing for the junior. He looks like a future college guard. Don’t overlook this kid.

I am a big fan of the dominant junior OL out of Wausau West. Will is developing an impressive array of traits that should have OL coaches at the next level turning their heads. Will is very explosive out of his stance. He instantly bursts onto his man in the run game and is able to turn that burst into power on contact. McCorison is a strong athlete who is able to run DL off the ball. He also moves very well laterally, which allows him to move along the line in zone blocking and reach DL. The range to get to the second level is also there. Will is a force in the trenches, and I believe he could play on the interior of the OL at a high level. Definitely a name to follow.
