What a night it was for senior RB Miles Waldvogel Miles Waldvogel 5'10" | 165 lbs | DB/RB Wausau West | 2027 State WI . The 2027 RB/ATH was easily the Player of the Game. He created big plays and dominated with his athletic gifts. His combo of vision, quick twitch agility, and that top end speed allowed him to attack inside and outside and score from anywhere on the field. The senior RB is committed to play DB for UW- Eau Claire. That is going to be a really good fit as his athletic tools will give him the ability to either roam over the top on the back end or even come down and play receivers 1 on 1 depending on the DB position he will be transitioning too. This is going to be a very memorable year for the senior RB.

Miles is a tone setter at safety for Wausau West. He is undersized for the typical safety at 5’10” 165 lbs, but on tape that doesn’t hinder him. The ’27 throws his body around to deliver big hits. He can cover a lot of ground to get to the football and still arrive with that mean streak ready to lay the wood. His ability to provide consistent and impactful run support for the backend is a huge bonus for a defense. In coverage we see Miles show off that range some more and also the ability to read the eyes of the QB. Miles is able to flip his hips and close on the football quickly and be very active at the catch point to break things up or create turnovers.
