Hales leads a productive Desert Oasis passing attack with 1,500 yards and 16 TDs on the season. The Diamondbacks’ second-year starter is a strong-armed passer that can thread the ball into tight windows with his velocity and has power in his arm that allows him to push the ball down the field with ease. He has a strong presence in the pocket at 6’/205 but will need to cut down on the turnovers for Desert Oasis to make a deep playoff push (4 INTs in past three games). Hales ranks as the #9-QB in PRZ NV’s 2026 rankings.

Hales has shown to be one of the top QBs in Las Vegas this season. Last Friday night, Hales threw with precision, helping Desert Oasis grab a big-time league win against Faith Lutheran 30-27> Hales completed 16 passes on just 20 attempts and gathered 247 yards and 4 Tds. Hales has the IQ and arm strength to be a great college prospect.

Hales possesses elite arm talent and can consistently place the ball on target, especially when throwing deep. Hales has a good size and is an accurate “pocket passer”. Hales also has a great football IQ and will turn more heads in his senior campaign to chase his first offer.
