was a dominating factor as a RB & LB. Racking up 2,382 yards and 21 TDs in those two seasons, Hughes showed incredible speed and quickness with impeccable vision. His ability to break off a long run was unmatched. But in his junior season, Tyrone transferred schools and wasn’t used as frequently. Now, he is back at McKinley and will take back lead of their ground game. I expect him to be the difference maker that puts McKinley back in the playoffs.

dominated the run game at McKinley, piling up 2,382 yards. In his junior season, Hughes transferred to a different school and had a down season. But now, he is back with the Macks. Tyrone has phenomenal vision and breakaway speed. His patience for the play to develop is unparalleled. This is a player with a lot to prove as a senior coming back to where it all started. A big season in 2024 will bring a ton of collegiate recognition.

Hughes briefly was enrolled or planned to enroll at Health Sciences in Buffalo and played this season after moving from McKinley but will revert back to his original home where he has been a dominant player for years at McKinley. Hughes is likely been the biggest in-state transfer this year but he ends up back where he started in what is a significant boost to the outlook on McKinley’s season.

is one of the best backs in the state. Not many running backs had the production that Hughes had last season and he is a top back in the state when it comes to making guys miss in space. Hughes has some really nasty cuts on tape and knows how to make guys miss while maintaining speed upfield.
