Although his stats were down as a junior, WR/DB Ta’yon Mullen is expected to be a huge factor for the Macks this season. A 5th team All-State DB selection in 2024 with ballhawking skills, he should have more of a presence on offense this year and may eclipse the 1,000 yard mark.
Mullen is a two way stud at both WR and DB. He is a ballhawk with phenomenal instincts. Statistically, he had a down year in 2025 but was named 5th team all state DB as a sophomore. He should have a bounce back year as a senior and is expected to be a major X factor for the Macks.
Mullen had a big breakout season last year, leading the Macks in INTs and making the All State team. The quintessential Free Safety, Tayon has fluid hips and the ability to track the ball in the air and get it at its highest point. He is also a viable option on offense as a WR.
Mullen made the All State team as a DB with 65 tackles and 4 INTs in 2024. He has tremendous awareness and the ability to get the ball at its highest point. A natural athlete, Tayon will also look to take a step forward as one of the Mack’s top receivers.
