About Kyler

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

An aggressive football gameplay style focused on taking control of the game by applying constant pressure on the opponent It involving quick hard tackles and aggressive run style often prioritize physicality fast decision making and high energy to dominate both offense and defense and to also dominate the opponent in physicality.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

A very bright and understanding person bringing great energy around everyday being able to change the demeanor of other players not only with personality but with mentality.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’ve learned to motivate my teammates because seeing one player unmotivated could lead to bad team chemistry that it could demotivate other teammates another thing I’ve learned is to not be selfish and be a team player for example crediting teammates on good plays and games so it continues to happens and not to be selfish taking away from the team.

What type of college are you looking for?

A college that supports my goals and preferences and that is willing to push and motivate me and make me feel at home.

Monterro’s breakout season started right from the start with 80 rushing yeards and a pair of scores. His impressive season carried week in week out on both sides of the ball. He was named 6th Team All State Defense and WNY Class B1 First Team All League at LB. He registered 83 tackles and 7 QB sacks while finishing with 8 rushing TDs.
