Simon quietly played an important role during the Beavers’ run to the title game, contributing on both offense and defense while consistently doing whatever was asked of him. He brings athleticism and versatility to the receiver and defensive back positions, giving Bluefield another dependable option on each side of the football. Simon is in a position to elevate both his production and recruiting profile in 2026 with a strong senior season.

2027 Bluefield ATH Tylee Simon Tylee Simon 5'9" | 150 lbs | ATH Bluefield | 2027 State WV earned a spot in the rankings after serving as a valuable two-way contributor for the Beavers during their run to the state championship game. Simon may not have received the same attention as some of Bluefield’s higher-profile players, but he consistently did his job and helped the team win in multiple ways. He provides steady play at both receiver and defensive back, bringing athleticism and playmaking to each side of the ball. Simon’s versatility and experience should make him an important piece for the Beavers once again as a senior. If he takes on a larger role and builds on last year’s success, he has the ability to attract legitimate D2 and D3 interest this fall.

Tylee Simon Tylee Simon 5'9" | 150 lbs | ATH Bluefield | 2027 State WV has emerged as a key contributor for Bluefield as the playoffs arrive, building on a season in which he’s totaled 337 receiving yards and seven touchdowns while also making plays in the defensive backfield. He’s shown the ability to impact games on both sides of the ball, highlighted by a big play potential on offense and shut-down ability on defense. With continued production and more game film, Simon is shaping up to be one of the team’s top playmakers this postseason.

He’ll be one of the Beavers’ top playmakers on both sides of the ball and made an impact in Bluefield’s big win over rival Graham (VA). Simon had a big touchdown on a post route on offense and picked off a pass at Nickel, attacking the ball in the air and wrestling the 50/50 pass in for the turnover. He’ll be someone to watch closely this year if he consistently posts his film each week.
