2028 RB/LB Jeremiah Jones developed into one of the top all-around players in Class AA during his sophomore season. Jones finished with more than 1,000 all-purpose yards and 17 touchdowns while also leading Bluefield’s defense with 143 tackles, earning First Team All-State honors. His vision and footwork separate him from most backs in the state, allowing him to make defenders miss before accelerating into the open field. Every touch carries big-play potential, and his production backed up what the film showed. Jones is an outstanding linebacker as well, but his highest long-term ceiling projects well at running back, where he has established himself as one of the premier prospects in West Virginia’s 2028 class.
