With over 3,500 total yards and 42 total touchdowns on the season, Ty Murphy Ty Murphy 6'0" | 180 lbs | QB Eupora | 2023 State MS is one of the best dual threat quarterbacks left in the 2023 class. As a passer, Murphy has a quick release and can let the ball rip downfield. He shows some impressive touch on intermediate to deep breaking routes and can get the ball out fast. Where Murphy’s real game breaking value is is in his running ability though. This is the type of guy that can score from anywhere on the field with the ball in his hands. Murphy shows great speed and burst in the open field and can make defenders miss when in space. He has perfected his ability to run option based run concepts as well. Murphy will have no shortage of opportunities to play at the next level. Sure would love to see him in a system that used him as a runner again.
