Tucker Kyne Tucker Kyne 6'5" | 225 lbs | ATH Cannon County | 2024 State TN has been a huge impact player at tight end and defensive end for Cannon County High School. On offense, he is a long strider that can play inline and out wide. Kyne shows good toughness after the catch and excels at tracking the ball down the field and making tough contested catches for big plays. On defense, he is instinctive vs the run and goes for forced fumbles when the opportunity presents itself. Kyne shows good hand usage and technique when rushing the passer and to set the edge.

Great explosiveness after the catch, good physicality and play strength to break tackles using stiff arms with contact balance to stay on his feet. Good understanding of how to use his big frame to win at the catch point with good ball skills. On defense, Kyne had 7 tackles and 1 TFL with 1 forced fumble. He showed a high motor and good 1st step explosiveness.

Smooth, displays good change-of-direction ability, and moves well around the field. Plays with proper lean, gets leverage on opponents, and fights with his hands throughout the action. Slides down the line of scrimmage in pursuit of the ball handler and quickly recognizes and diagnoses plays. Fires off the snap with a quick first step.

It’s been a long journey and off-season thus far for this Mid-Tennessee two-way talent and it all appears to be paying off as Kyne has put together strong camp performances and earned several offers, leading towards his stock rising and bigger schools getting involved. Just recently, Kyne has picked up offers from Tennessee St., Tennessee Tech, UVA-Wise and UT-Martin but it’s his list of interested schools that has me interested. Programs like Coastal Carolina, Memphis, MTSU, North Alabama, Rice, Vanderbilt and Yale have been sniffing around here of late, showing more interest and could be close to inviting him to campus for a visit or maybe even extend an offer. Kyne is a talented young man with tons of potential at either tight end or edge linebacker, so I can definitely understand why more schools are becoming more interested with this Cannon County product.
