Tristen has the tools you are looking for in an outside WR. He has very good height and good size which make him a mismatch on the field. He displays very good foot quickness, change of direction, and lateral agility. He releases off the line of scrimmage without taking false steps and utilizes his lateral quickness to evade Press and Soft defenders in conjunction with using his hands to rip past the DB. He quickly accelerates and displays good speed to quickly close the gap with Off coverage defenders. His film shows him manipulating his routes in the Stem phase to set up his very good separation quickness at the top of the route with his very good change of direction and fluid hips for seamless transitions. Shows very good hands and the ability to adjust to balls thrown outside of his frame. His height allows the QB to throw the ball up where he can outjump the DBs and high point the catch. Shows good ability to run after the catch, utilizing his good elusiveness to juke and evade defenders, and he has the speed to outrun most DBs. He also has no issue being physically tough and blocking for his teammates as a lead blocker on screens or downfield after a catch.
