! The 2027 gunslinger had a good showing at the Elite11 Indianapolis regional competition this spring, tying for second in the “Improvisation” category and getting his name out there while representing for the Land of 10,000 Lakes. Kowalkowski has also transitioned to a successful outdoor track and field season to really highlight his speed and athleticism, PRing at an 11.25 100M and 22.40 200M.
The lefty signal-caller has seen some Big Game action with the Bulldogs in his prep career, and he shows off a strong arm that can stretch the field vertically, and with noticeable touch and ball placement, especially on his fade balls – giving his WRs back-shoulder opportunities with ease. Kowalkowski is also accurate to all three levels of the field and owns impressive off-platform accuracy to boot, and he will step into his throws and finish passes through oncoming hits and pressure. Plus, he’s a dangerous scrambler and ball carrier with effective footwork in the open field who will also lower the shoulder and lay the boom if given the opportunity. Should be a huge summer for Kowalkowski given the hype he’s generating on the recruiting trail.

. Kowalkowski finished with 1430 passing yards, 16 TDs, and 6 INTs while rushing for 118 yards and 7 TDs on the ground. Compared to his sophomore season, Kowalkowski’s passing volume increased greatly in 2025, relying more on a well-rounded style that relied on an emphasis of progressions and targeting seams and open windows in the secondary. Kowalkowski will look to increase his consistency in accuracy entering his senior season, but he continues to show considerable improvement in his mechanics.

Although the Becker offense was mostly focused on the run game last Friday night against Hutchinson, Tristan made the most of his opportunities when the Bulldogs did sling the rock downfield. Where Tristan appeared in my eyes to be more efficent was with the throws he was able to make outside of the pocket as that was I felt his best area last Friday as not only the quality of the throws he was able to make but the precision he had with his receivers to get penetration on the secondary on intermediate routes. Tristan just picked up his first FBS offer from Southern Miss this morning.
