About Isiah

What's your biggest strength as a player, and how does it show up in games?

My biggest strengths are my leadership and competitiveness. As a football captain and three-sport captain, I try to lead by example, stay composed, and put the team first. In games, that shows up in how hard I compete, how dependable I am, and my ability as a running back to read blocks, make quick decisions, and get downhill.

What are you working to improve right now?

I’m working on being more patient and trusting my blocks instead of always looking for the big play. I want to take what the defense gives me, get consistent positive yards, and let the big plays come naturally.

What are you looking for in a college program?

I’m looking for a college program with a strong team culture, coaches who will push me to grow, and an opportunity to compete and contribute. I also want a program that values academics, leadership, and developing players both on and off the field.

Outside of your sport, what should coaches know about you?

Outside of football, leadership is a big part of who I am. I’m a three-sport captain in football, basketball, and track. I come from a family of eight, and both of my parents are educators and former head coaches. I also have a 3.89 GPA while taking CIS and AP courses.

What do you want to study, and what career interests you?

I’m interested in studying either Pre-Med or Business. In the medical field, I’m especially interested in becoming a chiropractor or optometrist, but I also have a strong interest in business and entrepreneurship.
