Tre’Von Darden could be low-key one of the best wide receivers that college teams haven’t heard from yet. The 6-foot-1, 160-pound wide receiver has great downfield speed and juice after the catch. He displays soft hands over the middle of the field and is a strong deep-play threat with great long speed. He had 724 all-purpose yards in 2025 and five touchdowns, but expect him to have a great junior year.

Darden has elite speed and can change the game in a flash. He ran the single fastest 40-yard dash of the event at a lasered 4.58 time. He’s got quick feet and gets to top speed in just a few steps. He’ll blow right by the DB in front of him and eliminate the cushion in just a few steps. He’s then got good eyes and can track the ball down the field. He won’t be caught once he catches the ball in stride and can house it at any given moment.

Darden is a dynamic receiver who can do a ton of damage with the ball in his hands. He’s crafty at the line and can create separation at the top of his routes. He’s got some good wiggle and can make guys miss in a phone booth. He’s got good ball skills down the field as well and quickly became a reliable target this year. He put up 23 catches for 465 yards and 5 TDs this past season in year 2.

Tre’von is a very shifty wide receiver who can make things happen after the catch. A solid route runner with great burner speed, he can be gone in a flash after-the-catch. Can go up and high-point the ball and win contested one-on-one battles. Darden has excellent potential as a soon-to-be junior. Expect his recruitment to break out soon.
