, the Minnesota career assists record-holder as of this past season and a Mr. Basketball finalist who will hoop in college at North Dakota. The elder Moore held high-major football and basketball offers, and the younger Moore has similar multi-sport utility and top-end ability, though he plays QB instead of WR like his brother. The #5 ranked sophomore in the PrepHoops 2028 Rankings totald 11.8 PPG, 4.2 APG, and 4.2 RPG, and he helped lead Hopkins‘ to a Class 4A, Section 6 championship appearance and loss to Wayzata, 105-70.
Also a winner on the gridiron, Moore was an integral part of turning around a Hopkins program that was recently in the depths of 6A despair, and that leadership and competitiveness is far from overlooked by PRZMN. The DC from SDSU and assistant DB coach at NDSU checked in this winter to see the Hopkins product, who went 146-274 (53%) for 1,881 yards and 17 total TDs, with 122 rushes for 525 yards in 2025, and I’m sure the programs like Moore’s big arm that can stretch the field vertically and win over the top against 6A DBs. The 5’11, gunslinger sees the field well and can get through his reads and progressions cleanly, as well as direct traffic and his threats when things break down and Moore can work outside of the pocket, and his smooth, intentional, twitchy footwork, small-area quickness, and overall scrambling ability inside and outside the pocket impress on tape as well. Moore displays touch and ball placement on his deep balls, a quick release, and accuracy to all three levels of the field. The sophomore also posted elite testing numbers at 612Q’s Offensive Skills Showcase, and given the fact that two defensive coaches showed up to see Moore in person, there is a chance he may be looked at as a WR or DB at the next level, but it’s still too early to comment officially. Either way, this dude is dynamic. What a sophomore year and budding career this young Moore has on his hands.

solidified himself as a top tier 2028 in Minnesota at the 612Q’s Offensive Skills Camp. PRZMN was stoked to get such an indepth look at Moore, who is a tough one to get eyes on in the offseason thanks to his impressive basketball background that has seen him run with the Royals‘ vaunted hoops squad since he was an 8th grader. Moore is a legit D1 prospect in both football and basketball, however, and he made sure everyone knew that early into the camp, as the 5’11 QB/PG clocked a laser-verified 4.63 40-yard dash right in front of PRZMN, an exciting indication of Moore’s athletic ability, and the arm lived up the hype as well. Moore, who threw at a 54% clip for early 2,000 yards and 17 total TDs against Minnesota 6A competition last fall, has also been the primary architect of Hopkins‘ turnaround and comeback from the depths of Big School despair, and you could see why after watching him sling the pigskin around in a camp setting. Lightning-quick release, good touch on his deep balls, and accurate to all three levels of the field, Moore’s snappy, compact mechanics could really generate some zip on the football, and his footwork was also impressive and aided him as an off-platform passer to boot. A legit 5’11 who can’t be more than 150 pounds, Moore is an interesting overall evaluation, especially with the high-level hoops background, but the 612Q’s Offensive Skills Camp was an overall strong grade and visibility point in his developing resume.

. Moore finished with 1556 passing yards, 15 TDs, and 4 INTs while adding 522 rushing yards (4.9 YPC) and 7 rushing TDs. A spectacular improviser who flashes similar athleticism to that of his older brother and top receiver Jayden, Tre is fearless as a deep passer, showing impressive touch and placement on long-range passes, and that mobility has made him very unpredictable and difficult to contain. Moore’s leadership for Hopkins’ offense could help spark a breakthrough for a Royals’ team that has struggled largely over the last 15 years, and after jumping from 1-9 to 4-5 in 2025, the ceiling is high for the Royals’ going forward.

threw three touchdown passes in a tough Week 1 loss to Edina, flashing the same playmaking ability that made him one of the state’s breakout freshmen a year ago. Despite heavy pressure from a talented Hornets defense, Moore still found ways to extend plays and deliver strikes, including a long touchdown connection with his older brother, Jayden.Moore is one of the most electric 2028 prospects in the Midwest and our No.1 2028 player and quarterback. A natural playmaker, he shows advanced arm talent for his age and can make difficult throws look routine. He’s comfortable throwing on the move, off-platform, and across his body, and he does it with impressive accuracy and velocity. His ability to drop a seam ball into a tight window or hit a receiver in stride separates him from most underclassmen quarterbacks. Mobility is another big part of his game. Moore rushed for 300 yards last season and has the speed to turn broken plays into explosive gains. His pocket presence continues to improve, and he remains composed under duress, keeping his eyes downfield while escaping pressure. What makes Moore so exciting is the combination of polish and upside. With two more years to grow, Moore already is one of the premier names in the state and a player college programs will be monitoring closely.

had a breakout freshman season last fall as the Hopkins Royals QB, where he played a key role in the team’s first wins as a team in years. The kid is a natural playmaker. He’s got an arm that is ages more evolved than a standard freshman QB, and sees the field a lot better, too. He’s got great pocket presence, with the ability to scramble and make big plays, especially on the run. He’s got the talent to throw off platform, across the body, all the throws that are very difficult to make, and he can complete them with a great degree of success.

. Playing in every game for Hopkins, Moore threw for 1438 yards, 14 touchdowns, and only 4 picks, adding 185 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns on the ground. Receiving significant playing time in the varsity lineup, Moore not only found his footing in the starting lineup, but flashed a ton of playmaking ability, proving to be a great scrambler and showing impressive strength and accuracy throwing on the run. Moore showed poise and smart decision-making under Center, along with a solid amount of grit and toughness when it came to taking hits from defenders. Hopkins’ future looks bright with Moore under Center.
