had that breakout sophomore year that many people expected. He was the feature back for APR and he was dominant. Gamble was All State and put himself in the conversation with the top 2026’s in New York. The way he cuts and makes people miss jumps out at you immediately. Gamble had a monster showing in the Rising Stars Bowl and other showcases this summer, he makes an argument to be the top player in the 3A headed into this season.

The first thing you see when you look at the information on Gamble is that he is a smaller prospect at 5’7 170, will a lot of players struggle to overcome size limitations Gamble is the type of player who has the type of athleticism and traits on film that push the size concerns to the side. At 170, Gamble still has the frame to fill out; his body type could end up holding 190+.
Gamble is super athletic and one of the best open-field players in the state; he can impact the game from the backfield on all three downs and has return ability.

Gamble could be noted as the best playmaker in the state because of his ability to do things with the ball in his hands. He is a little undersized but has excellent short-area quickness and the ability to accelerate and explode out of his cuts. I saw Gamble live at Maritime, and a live evaluation confirms what you see on tape. With his ability to be used in multiple positions, I believe his skillset holds strong value at the next level.

Gamble was one of the most hyped up prospects coming into the event and he lived up to the expectations. According to Catapult Sports, they had Gamble marked as the fastest player at the camp. He was clocked at an incredible 23.02 MPH which was the top speed at this camp. He was mainly a running back in his high school season but at the camp, he was with WRs. Gamble took most of his reps at receiver but he showed his versatility when lining up as a defensive back. He was able to make plays on both sides of the ball and was one of the top playmakers at the event.

. He simply couldn’t be stopped on the ground and the elusive playmaker was borderline unstoppable whenever he had the chance to make a play. Gamble is a player that could make an impact anywhere on the field and he’ll be a big reason if Randolph wins back to back titles on Saturday.

has proven to be the ultimate athlete.Gamble is one of the smoothest and most elusive athletes you’ll see in New York City. Recently APR has been using him as the feature running back and Gamble has been excelling. He’s been making the most of his carries and has pulled off some long runs in the victories against Campus Magnet and Far Rockaway. When they went against 4A teams like Madison and Kennedy in the “preseason/non league games” Gamble was absolutely incredible. He showed how effective he could be catching the football. Getting open and making people miss looked easy, as Gamble put on a show against the 4A schools, he’ll look to do the same on Saturday.
