Suazo is our representative from New York City and the PSAL League in this episode of the Watch List. He is a true athlete who plays on both sides of the ball as a DB/WR. Standing at 6’1″ 180-Pounds, he has a solid frame for a prospect, and as he grows should look to fill out his frame.

Suazo has a strong tape, and I was impressed by the quality of highlights on both sides of the ball. As a receiver he shows a strong first step, and the ability to make sharp cuts and dig his foot into the ground in order to take off downfield. He has good hands, and can make contested catches against physical DB’s. On the defensive side he has a high IQ, and can read the QB well. He jumps plays well, and showcases good skills in coverage and god hands and physicality to impact the ball at the POA.

A physical presence on the outside that wants to go up and get the ball when it comes to red zone situations. Suazo shows no hesitation when facing contact, securing tough catches in traffic. Furthermore, there is room to grow in his game still. Suazo does flash athletic talent, especially on jet sweeps that he was able to take for extra yardage.

Suazo was a player who I was really impressed with when I saw him this season—he looks the part physically and, for a Sophomore, is more physically ready for the next level than most prospects who play at skill positions.

Suazo has good ball skills; he shows it all over the tape, and when I saw AP Randolph play, he can make some plays from the WR position. As a two-way prospect I like how those ball skills show up at the SAF position and he is a consistent physical tackler coming downhill.
