Curry is a true hidden gem that many others around the state may not see the upside as I do because I see a tall and long edge rusher with a tremendous first step that can be developed much further on the next level. Holding several FCS or D2 offers at the moment, Curry has yet to breakthrough with his recruitment and the JuCo route may be where this Nashville area player begins but he has the potential and upside to compete on the D1 level one day. The Eagles senior defensive end does need more development both on the field and in the weight room but the natural tools are there to become an excellent college pass rusher in the near future.

What I like about Curry is his quick execution off the snap, his ability to consistently blast past the offensive line and his ability to apply heavy pressure on the quarterback. Curry also makes a difference due to his ability to read the offense and pick up speed in the pocket, proving he can suffocate the rush. Curry is a dynamic quarterback hunter capable of taking over games, dominating offensive lines, and making a game-changing play on any snap. He is quick off the ball, and his anticipation provides him a first-step that gives him a head start over his blockers. With good body lean, Curry flies up field, and he is a threat to dart by tackles to just run around them to get to the quarterback. His burst translates to the inside as well, where he will dart past interior blockers and close on the quarterback in a hurry.
