Theron Miles Theron Miles 6'5" | 215 lbs | TE Scottsboro | 2027 AL is one of two South Alabama TE commits in the 2027 class. Miles has really impressive initial quickness and just general athleticism for his size. He is quick out of his stance and to occupy space, gifting him the ability to contribute as a receiver at each level of the field. If he gets the ball in the flats with room to run, he can keep the offense ahead of the chains and on schedule. He is certainly capable as a blocker, showing he can quickly reach second-level defenders, and it helps that he has plenty of space to bulk up.

“At 6’5 215, Miles is an incredibly reliable safety outlet to his QB almost every passing down. He’s athletic, can block, and has a great set of hands he uses to haul in passes all over the field.

I’m super impressed with how Miles can move at his size. He’s fast and elusive with the ball in his hands and can gain great separation off of his routes downfield. He’s a natural playmaker in the passing game who can completely dominate smaller DBs in coverage- there’s a ton to like with his game.”

Miles made news recently when he committed to South Alabama, giving them a talented in-state playmaker in their 2027 class.
