Tess was a defensive linemen out of this Nebraska 2028 class that I had a first team grade on when I put my Lincoln All-City Team together before the fall started and he’s showed why I felt that way thus far. The 6’5 250 pounder is packed with very quick get off hands that are eruptive arong the ball carrier and shows off the great length he has at his disposal that might be out a reach for other defensive ends in this 2028 class. He surely has the position flexibility in my eyes to be a defensive end or defensive tackle at the next-level, as you will see balanced reps from both spots across his midseason tapes. Tess is very proactive with his run-stopping ability and a lot of that has to do with his timing with his get off hands while also showing a rangy first step. He’s one that is a surefire grower in this 2028 class that will see his stock rank rise quickly.

Lincoln North Star’s Tess Tadjuidje Tess Tadjuidje 6'5" | 250 lbs | DL/OL Lincoln North Star | 2028 State NE is an interesting player who possesses the measurables and will now look to continue fine-tuning his skills to unlock his massive potential. Tess played on both the offensive and defensive lines for the Gators, finishing the year with 19 tackles, 9 TFLs, and 2 sacks. Tess is a “first off the bus” type of player with a tall, strong build at 6’5″ and 215 pounds, with elite length you like to see from your linemen, and room to continue filling out his frame to be able to hold his own better in the trenches. He has potential on either side of the ball, but seemed to flash more on the offensive side. Tadjuidje showed that he has the lateral quickness to drop into pass protection and stay engaged with defenders through the rep. He uses his length to his advantage, making sure to make initial contact with his opponents, then showing the leg drive to move them off the ball. Defensively, I can see Tess as either a defensive end or OLB, depending on how he continues to develop physically. With a season of starting experience and an offseason to continue polishing his game, Tess could be on the verge of a big season!
