The 6’1 210 RB has size, speed and power and is a tough guy to bring down for 4 quarters. A good runner between the tackles for who isn’t afraid to put his head down and get a few yards but posses the speed to break away and take the ball to the house. A strong kid, solid, that takes a toll on the defense hit after hit. Franklin rushed for close to 900 yds this season with 17 TDs while splitting carries with fellow Senior Jamir Boyd and has recently received his latest offer from Fort Valley State.

Franklin is a very talented running back from Ware County and is one of the better running backs in the state of Georgia in the 2026 class. Many believe that he deserves to go to another school other than Bryant. He is extremely fast and has the chance to be very lethal at the next level.

Tayshaun Franklin Tayshaun Franklin 6'1" | 215 lbs | ATH/RB Ware County | 2026 State GA made the most out of 6 carries with 152 yards and 3 TDs. Franklin is a no-nonsense runner who hits openings hard and doesn’t unnecessarily deviate from his path. His long strides help him maintain his top-end speed and lift off from defenders. He is well-developed, carrying his 210 pounds well. He is committed to Bryant and looks like a prospect who should contribute early and often at that level.

A versatile South Georgia athlete who ran the ball well last season for the Gators in 2024, Franklin’s speed was on full display last year as a junior and should help him fly past defenders again in 2025. He was a top performer at the Lowndes MVP camp this winter and was the “fastest man” at the event after running a strong 4.55 time in the 40-yard dash. Doing it at 6-foot-1 215-pounds makes that time even more impressive. He ran for 591 yards and 8 touchdowns for the Gators last year while also helping out at receiver. Look for him to have a big final season next fall. Don’t be surprised if his Prep Redzone ranking increases as well.
