A hybrid player down in Waycross who excelled on offense as a tight end with the potential to be a major weapon on defense as a pass-rushing edge defender, Jones is a long, athletic prospect in the rise with a lengthy 6-foot-7 210-pound frame. He plays hard, can block kicks on special teams, and is a physical run blocker at tight end. His size and potential is easy to see, and if he can continue to develop properly while adding more muscle, Jones is bound for a gigantic senior season in 2026. The small-town prospect earned his first offer recently from Towson and it likely won’t be his last.

Jones was head and shoulders above the competition both figuratively and literally. His elite frame and catch radius immediately made him one of the toughest matchup problems in the tournament. In red zone and deep ball situations, he consistently used his body to box defenders out and win above the rim.

He paired that size with strong hands, solid route breaks, and enough speed to threaten vertically. Jones’ ability to work back to the ball and dominate contested situations made him one of the premier offensive weapons on Day 2.

A new right tackle to know about in Southeast Georgia, Jones was a consistent run blocker on the right side all season long for the mighty Ware County Gators in 2025. As a junior last year, Jones shined both on the offensive line and on special teams, using his big 6-foot-5 210-pound frame and impressive length to take defenders out of the play. He’s still learning and developing his craft, but if Jones has continue putting on as much weight and muscle mass as possible over the next several months, Jones could see some D1 interest and possible offers come his way in the future.
