We could have done this build last year and Tay would have still been the selection. The senior WR has some of the best, if not the best, hands in WI. He is able to make every catch with confidence away from his body. The senior is outstanding and playing above the rim and getting the ball at its high point. Plus he is outstanding at securing the catch through traffic because of how strong his hands are. Get it somewhere that the senior WR can get his hands on it and he will usually find a way to somehow come down with it.

One of the top WRs in Wisconsin is still looking for that first offer. Tay is 6’3″ 195 lbs, has produced at a high level, and sports a 3.95 GPA. The attention is there, but once the 2025 hits the camps I think he quickly earns the elusive offers he is after. Despite the big frame, Tay finds a way to consistently get behind the defense. The 2025 does it with some pure speed and some route running prowess. To go along with the size and speed, Ferguson also sports excellent hands and a strong knack for tracking the ball in flight. Tay is able to high point the ball through traffic or while taking a hit. His body control that helps with route running also helps him make some acrobatic adjustments while going up for the ball. There is no doubt, Tay has the physical requirements to play at a higher level of college ball. I’m excited for his summer to unfold.

Rankings Jump: #77 up to #38rnOne of the most reliable, and largest target radiuses in WI resides in Eau Claire, WI. Tay brings an exciting 6’3″ 195 lbs frame to the field and even more impressive than that is the ball skills that come with it. Tay is exceptional at tracking the ball, adjusting to the ball, and getting his hands on it. Between his soft hands and hand-eye coordination once he gets a hand on it you can consider the ball caught. It is impressive watching his reel in the passes he does with one hand, or along the sideline, or at awkward angles. He does whatever it takes to secure the catch. The junior has the physical tools to make sure he can get to the ball too. We see the body control and awareness along the sideline. He has the leaping ability to go up and get it over the defense. To go with the size and ball skills, Tay also seems to have the necessary athleticism to play out wide at the next level. This may not be the only jump Tay sees this offseason depending on his camp performances and testing. This is definitely a name to know.

. Tay is a legitimate mismatch at the position. He has great length for the position at 6’3″, but can also simply run right by DBs. The playmaker does a great job of finding the balling the air and going and getting it. Ferguson also possesses next level body control that allows him to make sudden breaks. His burst into and out of those breaks add to his mismatch because DBs have a hard time reacting to and staying with him through the cuts. I’m very excited to cover his recruitment. He is definitely an athlete to know in the Class of 2025.
