Barney was effective throughout the night and a key note to take away is that he was the short yardage back, the goal line back, and the back they used to close out the game. He’ll be part of a rotation, but he is used in high-leverage situations. He has good contact balance, fights through defenders, and has good wiggle.

Barney was an effective and efficient runner last week. He brings good size, physicality, and vision. Being part of the rotation and the size that he has, he will wear down a defense and will force a defense to absorb his impact. He’ll look to continue to carve out a role as the bruising back this week.
