He uses his frame to shield defenders from the ball and he is a receiver who moves well and does a good job of getting vertical. Mailo has looked good during JV games this past season and has suited up for varsity. There’s vacated targets being left behind in the room and Mailo has the size, and necessary release package to occupy one of the boundary positions. He showcases strong hands and can win at all three levels. He does a good job at high pointing the ball and is an interesting prospect.

He shows good footwork and is a player who is strong at the catch point and does well transitioning upfield with little wasted movement. He has all the tools you want to see.

He’s a player who should be part of the rotation this year and be a name to know for next year.
